The Midwifery Assistant Training for Black, Indigenous, People of Color and Queer and Transgendered folx is offered at no-cost as a project of Center for Indigenous Midwifery with funding provided by Open Arms Perinatal Services and King County Best Starts for Kids.
The intention of this training is for capacity-building within the birthing community. It is taught by Rhonda Lee Grantham, founder of Center for Indigenous Midwifery, and in collaboration with Terri Chi-Lee from Generations Midwifery, along with other guest trainers.
This training is a full week, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ish). Attendance at all sessions is important, as they build upon one another.
There will be FOUR MORE SESSIONS in 2021, with dates to be announced.
WA State applicants will be prioritized.
