Assistant
The Midwifery Assistant Training for Black, Indigenous, People of Color and Queer and Transgendered folx is offered at no-cost as a project of Center for Indigenous Midwifery with funding provided by Open Arms Perinatal Services and King County Best Starts for Kids.
The intention of this training is for capacity-building within the birthing community. It is taught by Rhonda Lee Grantham, founder of Center for Indigenous Midwifery, and in collaboration with Terri Chi-Lee from Generations Midwifery, along with other guest trainers.
This training is a full week, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ish). Attendance at all sessions is important, as they build upon one another.
