Jacquelyn Aurora Ingram, CPM (Aleut, Ninilchik Traditional Council member)

Jacquelyn Aurora Ingram (she/her) is a Certified Professional Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She is from rural Alaska, and now resides in Hawaii. 

 

Jacquelyn studied midwifery at National Midwifery Institute, with apprenticeship in a busy birth center in Los Angeles, and also Bumi Sehat Bali. She has worked in a variety of settings and capacities, including urban, rural, emergency, disaster relief, education and program development.

 

Jacquelyn is a current board member of NACPM and also works with Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawaii. She is an active volunteer in the maternal child health field. 

 

Jacquelyn is passionate about informed consent, global health, and eliminating health inequities. A mother to three young children, and wife to an awesome, ocean-loving man, the family enjoys local food, spending time outdoors, and exploring the world together!
